Shiva Chalisa is a forty-chaupai Hindi devotional hymn traditionally attributed to Ayodhya Das, praising Shiva's form, grace, protective power and major devotional narratives.

பொருள்Moved by such intense devotion, Shiva became pleased and granted the desired boon.

பொருள்The devotee laments continual trouble and restlessness, finding no peace amid harmful influences.
